Follow Lewis and Clark up the Missouri River, through the mountains and on to the Pacific. Visit Dakota, Arikara, Mandan, Hidatsa, and Shoshone museums and cultural sites. Follow the Missouri to its source (as Lewis understood it). Visit museums and forts dedicated to the mountain fur trade, as well as recreations of the forts they lived in over the two winters that they were gone.
